Prof. Wei Tsin Fu is the founder of the IBA piano school and the creator of the “Snowman’s Dream” Method. He is the only music teacher of Asian descent who has successfully established a music academy and piano school in Europe.

From Mathematics to Piano School

Having studied mathematics and theology in Indonesia, Prof. Wei moved to Germany to study the piano for 27 semesters with 20 of the greatest pianists in Europe, including: Vladimir Horbowski (Russia), Wang Ing Ong (China), Hubert Giesen (Germany), Elinor Junker (Germany), Stanislav Neuhaus (Russia), Eugen Frosch (Germany).

Since 1978, Prof. Wei has dedicated himself to the studies of brain functions. He discovered that the intellectually gifted process knowledge differently from average people.  By analysing and studying their brain functions and thought processes, he has developed a method as a music teacher that teaches the average person to think like those.

Wei therefore considers IBA a brain school more than a music or piano school. As a music teacher he allows the piano to become a bridge for activating students’ intelligence beyond their fullest potential.

As a result, both the German and Singaporean Ministries of Education have recently invited Wei to lecture on intelligent learning methods and brain functions as a music teacher.
